Richt On Kaaya: "When The Pocket Is Clean He's Done A Pretty Good Job"
Miami Hurricanes head football coach, Mark Richt joined the Joe Rose Show on 560 WQAM to discuss the football program's four-game losing streak. He also talked about his players, who he says kept fighting throughout the loss to Notre Dame, his message at halftime to keep the team involved and Miami's struggling offensive line.
"It was a heartbreaking way to lose it, when you look in the eyes of your team after the game you tell them you are proud of their fight."
"We've got to do things better, if you take the highlights it would be a great reel, but we have to keep doing the little things right and keep from the self-inflicted wounds."
"We are doing a lot of right things and the process is good, we just have to stay the course."
On Kaaya in the 2nd half- "When the pocket is clean he's done a pretty good job, we mixed things up to get it going."
On Kaaya- "We are just working on the plan and how we want him to think, just learning every time you drop back the pocket is going to be there."
