Reward Offered For Info On Casino Warehouse Burglary
HOLLYWOOD (CBSMiami) – While robbing a casino may seem like a daunting task, burglarizing its warehouse wasn't much of a problem for several men last month.
The Hollywood and Seminole police departments, along with the FBI and Crime Stoppers, are offering a combined reward of $25,000 for information leading to the arrest of four men who broke into a warehouse used by the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.
Investigators said the burglary occurred May 25th sometime between 8:15 a.m. and noon at SW 42nd Street and SW 30th Avenue.
The burglars made off with Apple TV3 Network Players, JVC and Vivitar Camcorders, 32" Samsung TVs, WII Gaming Systems and hundreds of cases of premium liquor.
The trailer used to haul away the loot was later found abandoned.
The FBI has released grainy surveillance pictures of the four men, one on whom was wearing a mask over his face, in hopes that it triggers someone's memory and they pick up the phone.
Anyone with information that may help to identify and locate the men is urged to call Crime Stoppers at (954) 493-TIPS (8477).
