MIAMI (CBSMiami) - Researchers say they've found a new link between obesity and diabetes, and the risk of developing breast cancer.
A report in the Boston University School of Medicine shows a type of vesicle in the body called "exosomes" makes breast cancer more severe and more resistant to treatment.
The findings could help doctors better treat breast cancer and reduce the risk for patients who are obese or suffer from type-2 diabetes.
