Reports Indicate Jason Pierre-Paul Injures Hand In Fireworks Accident

BOCA RATON (CBSMiami) – New York Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul reportedly suffered a serious hand injury in a Fourth of July fireworks accident near his South Florida home.
Andy Slater of 940-AM WINZ was one of the first to report of Pierre-Paul's accident.

Though the extent of the injury is unclear, TMZ reported Pierre-Paul injured at least two fingers plus his thumb. ESPN's Adam Schefter tweeted out that Pierre-Paul is scheduled to meet with team doctors.

Pierre-Paul allegedly bought so many fireworks he had to rent a U-Haul van to transport them.
