Report: Jake Long Out Of Pro Bowl
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Miami Dolphins left tackle Jake Long has decided not to take his talents to Honolulu next weekend, according to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.
Long, who has battled injuries the last two seasons, withdrew from the NFL Pro Bowl and will be replaced by Denver left tackle Ryan Clady. It's the third-straight Pro Bowl that Long has had to miss due to injuries.
The massive left tackle from Michigan was held out of the final three games of the season for the Dolphins due to a biceps injury.
Long is expected to make a full-recovery for next season, but the Sun-Sentinel reported he may be held out of some parts of the offseason program.
Long has had shoulder problems, a biceps injury, and has had his knee worked on since he entered the league as the number one draft pick in the 2008 NFL Draft.
