Relentless Rain Causes Flood Of Trouble

OAKLAND PARK (CBSMiami) – Thursday morning's relentless rain has caused a flood of trouble in various parts of Broward County including Oakland Park.

Chopper 4 flew over different streets where cars and trucks had to slow down to a crawl in order to drive through deep flood water.

Several roads were affected by the deep water including NE 6^th Avenue at Prospect Road, NE 3^rd Avenue north of Park Lane East to NE 40^th Street.

NE 5^th and 6^th Avenues in the warehouse district, south of Prospect Road and north of Park Lane East, NE 12^th Terrace, south of Commercial Boulevard and north of Florinada Road, NE 61^st Street between NE 6^th Avenue and NE 2^nd Avenue.

Flood warning signs have also been placed along NE 56^th Street from Dixie Highway to NE 6^th Avenue in front of Northeast High School.

South Florida remains under a Flood Watch until 8:00 p.m.
