Records: Zimmerman Ordered Bulletproof Vest
ORLANDO (CBSMiami/AP) — Awaiting trial last year for the death of Trayvon Martin, George Zimmerman ordered a bulletproof vest and infrared home security device.
The information was released in records by the Seminole County Sheriff's Office, Thursday.
They also show Zimmerman was required to report to deputies by telephone every two days.
Zimmerman was required to stay in Seminole County except to visit his attorneys in a neighboring county. He also was required to wear a GPS monitoring device.
The record logs of sheriff's deputies also show that Zimmerman and his wife, Shellie, moved at least three times last year.
Zimmerman was acquitted of any crime last month for the fatal shooting Martin last year in the gated community where he lived and where Martin was visiting.
