Rapper Brisco Charged With Aggravated Battery
MIAMI (CBS4) – Local rapper Brisco has been charged him with aggravated battery after he allegedly assaulted a former business associate.
The charge against the 29-year old, whose real name is British Alexander Mitchell, stemmed from an incident last month in the parking lot of an apartment building in the 2000 block of Sans Souci Boulevard.
According to police, Mitchell went to the apartment building where Giovanni Nagy lived on the morning of June 30th after he allegedly threatened him via text messages. When Mitchell arrived, he allegedly demanded that Nagy step outside. Nagy's mother went down to intervene on her son's behalf and try to calm Mitchell down.
According to the police report, when that didn't work Nagy went outside to protect his mother and that is when Mitchell punched him until his was unconscious.
Nagy's mother took pictures of Mitchell with her cell phone as he was beating her son, according to the police report.
Mitchell turned himself in to North Miami police on Monday. During his first appearance in court on the charge on Tuesday the judge set bond at $7,500.
