Randy Moss Wants To Return
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – He hasn't been seen on a football field since a well-publicized meltdown amongst several teams two years ago; but now, former All-Pro wide receiver Randy Moss wants to come back to the NFL.
Moss reportedly retired last year, but few thought he could stay away from the game for more than one year. Monday morning on Ustream.tv, Moss said that he wants to play again.
Moss always had unquestioned size and speed, but at 35-years-old, the question will be how much he has left in the tank for a team. His last season in the NFL, 2010, saw him catch 28 passes for 393 yards and five touchdowns.
For his career, he has caught 954 passes for 14,858 yards and 82 touchdowns.
Moss will likely command at least the veteran's minimum for a salary and will hope to recreate the form he had in 2009 when he caught 83 passes for 1,264 yards and 13 touchdowns.
