Rain Delayed Opening Of New SR 836 Ramp
DORAL (CBSMiami) - Mother Nature has delayed the opening of a new ramp to access State Road 836.
The Florida Department of Transportation had planned to open the new ramp from southbound State Road 826 to westbond SR 836 on Sunday, Dec. 8th, but couldn't because of our recent rain.
A contractor working on the project was unable to paint the new lane markings because the pavement was wet.
The FDOT hopes to get the new ramp open sometime mid-week.
When it does, drivers on southbound SR 826 heading will reach the ramp to westbound SR 836 immediately after passing the Northwest 25 Street exit.
Drivers on the southbound SR 826 ramp from NW 25 Street will exit to the left and connect with the mainline southbound SR 826 or continue straight on the ramp lane to connect with westbound SR 836.
