LAUDERDALE-BY-THE-SEA (CBSMiami) -- More than a dozen protesters gathered Friday afternoon after a popular pier was shut down in Lauderdale-By-The-Sea.
The group held up signs along Commercial Blvd near the beach.
They're upset after town officials closed Anglin's Fishing Pier due to code violations during construction work that was reportedly not permitted.
Some of the protesters demanded their jobs back, while others urged onlookers to call City Hall about the issue.
