Prosecutors Can Show Jury Casey Anthony's MySpace Postings
ORLANDO - (CBS4) - Casey Anthony's MySpace postings and a tattoo that the Florida mother had done while her 2-year-old daughter went missing will be admitted in the jury trial against her, a judge recently ruled.
Prosecutors will be allowed to tell jurors about Anthony's tattoo and the messages she wrote on the social networking site, Circuit Judge Belvin Perry in Orlando ruled Thursday.
Casey Anthony's trial is expected to begin in May.
Anthony has said she is innocent and should not have been charged in her daughter's disappearance. Anthony pleaded not guilty and says a baby sitter kidnapped her daughter Caylee.
Prosecutors say the MySpace postings and the tattoo will show jurors the state of mind Casey Anthony was in while her daughter's whereabouts were unknown.
Her daughter went missing and it was Casey Anthony's mother Cindy who called 911 on July 15, 2008 to report her granddaughters disappearance.
