Pro Football Hall Of Fame Displaying Jay Ajayi's Dolphins Jersey

CANTON (CBSMiami) – Miami Dolphins running back Jay Ajayi joined an exclusive and elite group when he ran for over 200 yards in consecutive weeks.
The Pro Football Hall of Fame took notice.
On Wednesday, the Hall of Fame received the Dolphins jersey worn by Ajayi against the Buffalo Bills on October 23rd.
Ajayi ran for 214 yards and a touchdown that day, becoming just the fourth player in NFL history to run for over 200 in back-to-back games.
The previous week Ajayi rushed for 204 yards and two touchdowns against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Only O.J. Simpson, Earl Campbell and Ricky Williams had accomplished the feat prior to Ajayi's breakout performances.
Simpson and Campbell are members of the Hall of Fame.
Ajayi's jersey is being displayed as part of the Hall of Fame's "Pro Football Today" gallery which features several pieces from recent history-making moments around the NFL.
