Principal Reports Student Shot At Orlando-area School
ORLANDO (CBSMiami) – The principal of an Orlando-area high school said a student at the school has been shot but is alert.
West Orange High School principal Doug Szcinski said on the school's Facebook page the student was shot on Wednesday afternoon and taken to the hospital.
The Orange County Sheriff's Office told the Orlando Sentinel that all students remaining on the school's campus were being taken by bus to Ocoee High School for pick-up.
Student told the Sentinel that the shooter was a student who had been suspended and that the shooting happened in the school's bus loop. Law enforcement haven't confirmed who the shooter is or any motive for the shooting.
