Presidential Debate In Boca Raton Impacting Businesses
BOCA RATON (CBS4) - The third and final Presidential debate is having a major impact on local businesses in Boca Raton. Many have been working since April to prepare for the big event.
AV Rental Depot has printed and hung more than 150 banners on the Lynn University Campus. A few are as large as 84 feet wide and drape across buildings at the school.
The company is also providing dozens of state of the art monitors and media systems for a number of watch parties on campus.
"It was great to be able to support Lynn University and it was a great opportunity to provide our resources and promote our brand," said James Cullen, AV Rentals Manager.
Cullen said the project was a significant financial impact for his company to the tune of six figures.
Down the road at Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza, the staff is also preparing for a significant contribution to the debate. The restaurant will donate the food to feed 600 people at all the watch parties on campus.
"We get to actually be part of something so historic you know a presidential debate," said Pedro Andrade, General Manager at Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza.
Andrade said the restaurant will be making 1200 meatballs, 1500 oven roasted chicken wings, sandwiches and salads for the event.
