Pre-School Teacher Enters Plea In Molestation Case
FT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) – A Coconut Creek pre-school teacher facing multiple counts of child molestation entered a written plea of not guilty on Monday.
Olakunle Omomowo, 38, of Lauderhill was arrested in early June and charged with four counts of lewd or lascivious molestation on victims less than twelve years old. He taught at the Discovery Preschool, at 5601 Regency Lakes Boulevard in Coconut Creek.
At least two lawsuits have been filed against the former music teacher.
In one of the suits, "Jane Doe No. 36 v. Discovery Preschool", the alleged victim claimed that Omomowo tickled her genital area under her underwear in May, 2013.
The suit also alleges Omomowo sexually abused at least eight children at Discovery, girls and boys.
However, police have not said where Omomowo reportedly molested the victim/victims and/or if they attended the school.
