Powerball Players Hope To Win Massive Jackpot
COCONUT CREEK (CBSMiami) - Imagine the millions of things one could do with an extra $600 million dollars. It's possible, that by the end of the night, that dream for one lucky Powerball winner may become a reality.
The drawing for the highest Powerball in jackpot history, previous record was set at $587.5 million in November of last year, is set to happen Saturday evening and to say that players are excited at the potential may be an understatement.
On Saturday, Coconut Creek Casino was giving away one Powerball ticket to the first 1000 people to arrive. Also, each of those 1000 people received a ticket for a chance to win 500 additional Powerball tickets.
The Powerball drawing to win the $600 million will take place Saturday night.
