Pot House Discovered In Homestead, Three Arrested
HOMESTEAD (CBS4) - It was high times in a Homestead neighborhood as an alert Realtor tipped off police to a grow house.
Police say the Realtor was in the area when they noticed suspicious activity coming from the home on the 1300 block of Southeast 26th Avenue Tuesday afternoon.
When authorities got to the home they found a man and a juvenile trying to steal marijuana from a small hydroponics lab in an upstairs bedroom.
The two were arrested on burglary charges. The owner of the home was also arrested and will face charges of running a marijuana house.
Police say the pot has a street value of about $75,000.
