Pompano Beach Woman's Body Pulled From Backyard Pool

POMPANO BEACH (CBSMiami) – Foul play is not suspected in the death of a Pompano Beach woman found Saturday floating in a backyard pool.

The Broward Sheriff's Office said just before 4 p.m. the body of Monica Rappart was found by her neighbor floating in the pool behind a duplex in the 1000 block of North River Drive. The neighbor had gone outside to clean the pool when he found her motionless in the water.

The neighbor immediately contacted 911 and the first deputy to arrive jumped in the water and pulled Rappart's body out.

Pompano Beach Fire Rescue rushed her to North Broward Medical Center where she was pronounced dead.
