Pompano Beach Man Killed In I-95 Crash
DEERFIELD BEACH (CBS4) – A Pompano Beach man was killed Sunday morning in an accident involving an 18-wheeler on I-95.
The Florida Highway Patrol said 21-year old Antonio Julian was heading south on the highway in his 1997 Honda Civic when he hit the rear of the big rig just north of SW 10th Street just before 5:30 a.m.. Julian died on the scene. The driver of the truck, identified as 26-year old Jino Richard Manelas of Polk City, was not injured.
The FHP shut down the two outside lanes of I-95 for five hours. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
