MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton are locked in critical swing states just 60 days before election day, according to a new poll.
Among those critical swing states is Florida - a major battleground.
A Quinnipiac University poll finds Clinton and Trump tied with 47% each in the Sunshine State.
With a third-party candidate in the Florida race, Clinton and Trump also tied at 43% while Libertarian presidential candidate Gary Johnson came in at 8 percent.
Other critical swing states in which they are close include North Carolina, Ohio and Pennsylvania, according to the poll.
"The effect of the Republican and Democratic conventions on the presidential race has run its course. As the campaign enters its final stage, Florida and Ohio, two of the largest and most important Swing States, are too close to call, while North Carolina and Pennsylvania give Hillary Clinton the narrowest of leads," said Peter A. Brown, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Poll.
