Police: West Palm Beach Man Kills Ex-Lover, Himself
WEST PALM BEACH (CBSMiami) — A Palm Beach County man reportedly took his ex-girlfriend's life before committing suicide.
Palm Beach County Sheriff's officials are investigating the incident that happened early Sunday morning.
The man was apparently upset about his ex-lover's involvement with a new boyfriend and went to her home. The two got into a heated argument, and then officials say that the man pulled out a handgun and shot her.
A witness wrestled the gun away from the suspect and he fled. The man then ran back to his house, according to West Palm Beach officials, and grabbed another firearm where he fatally shot himself.
The victim and suspect had been separated and were living at different homes. The two previously had a history of domestic problems with law enforcement.
The two have not been identified.
