She headed to Stetson University just north of Orlando. Now, police say she's missing and her family is desperate to find her.
"We're all concerned about you Valentina," said Elizabeth Arango, Valentina's mother. "Please come home. Please tell us you're OK. Send a message if you're not able to. Try to turn on that phone. Try to do something so we can help you."

Miramar Police say Valentina Arango spoke to her mother on Monday and since then no one has spoken to her or seen her.
According to police, Valentina was driving a 2015 blue Toyota Yaris with license plate number Z01-AXB when she left home. Police say her phone's GPS showed that she arrived at Stetson University and her debit card was used last Sunday but no one recalls seeing her.
Miramar Police tell us her phone is now off as her worried family anxiously awaits answers.
CBS 4 News reached out to Stetson University. A University spokesperson told us "At this time Stetson is fully cooperating with law enforcement to assist them in their investigation and Stetson Public Safety remains on the lookout for her vehicle on campus."
