Missing Man With Mental Capacity Of 12-Year-Old Found In Good Health
PEMBROKE PINES (CBSMiami) – Police are thanking the public for their help in locating a 33-year-old man that has Schizophrenia and the mental capacity of a 12-year-old.
Police say James Jones was found in Coconut Creek Thursday night in good health. No other details were released.
Around 4 p.m. Wednesday, Pembroke Pines Police were notified by family members that the Jones had walked away from 8531 NW 10 Street.
Melinda Henry, Jones' mother, told CBS4 that Jones left the house around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday night while they were visiting friends.
Henry said she thought James was going to the corner convenience store, but he never returned.
Jones suffers from Schizophrenia and did not have his medication.
