Police Searching For Shooter Who Left One Dead, Another Injured
NORTHWEST MIAMI-DADE (CBSMiami) - A man was killed and another was injured when someone opened fire around 8 p.m. on a Northwest Miami-Dade street.
Miami-Dade Police Detective Alvaro Zabaleta says officers responded to the home in the area of 17th Avenue and Northwest 92 Street after receiving reports of shots fired.
People began arguing and then fighting, and then "several shots were fired," according to a police statement.
When they arrived, a 22-year-old man was dead on the scene and a 40-year-old man was injured. The injured man was transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center, where police said he is in critical condition.
Neither man has been identified and no one is in custody. It is unknown who fired the shots.
