Police Search For Hair Weave Thieves
FLORIDA CITY (CBSMiami) – Police are looking for two crooks that were caught on surveillance breaking into a Florida City beauty supply store and left with a bang – and maybe a few other hair extensions.
The two suspects, according to Florida City Police, were said to have broken into Mark Beauty Supply located at 877 West Palm Drive on July 28th.
The burglary was all caught on tape by the store's surveillance video.
The video shows two people, dressed in all black, with their faces covered and wearing hats. They both appeared to have crept into the store and scoped around to see if any employees were still there. The first person went inside, and when it appeared that the coast was all clear, the next person followed behind.
Another video shows the weave thieves going straight for the hair extensions and stuffing numerous packages in large black garbage bags. The two suspects then fled the scene.
