Police Rule Coral Spring Man's Death A Homicide
CORAL SPRINGS (CBS4) - Coral Springs detectives are now classifying the death of a man found in his home as a homicide.
Officers were sent to an apartment in the 9800 block of NW 33rd Street just after 1 a.m. Sunday after they received a call. Inside they found the body of Michael Todd Hamilton.
"We have a 31-year old man who was found inside his residence, that's suspicious," Police spokesman Sgt. Dave Kirkland told CBS4 News on Sunday.
Crime scene investigators spent most of the day inside the apartment and looking for clues in the surrounding area. Neighbors who live in the area say they are stunned.
"It's a very quiet neighborhood, all the neighbors are good neighbors and everyone goes to church together," said Barbara Maggiore.
Police have not commented if they are looking for a suspect.
