Police Take To The Streets In Search Of Woman's Violent Attacker

MIAMI (CBSMiami) - Two days ago, in Miami, a man violently attacked a woman while on her way home from work. The victim got away, but so did her attacker and now police want to make sure he doesn't strike again.
Police are handing out flyers Wednesday with a sketch of the man, believed to be between 20 and 30, they say attempted to kidnap and sexually assault a woman.
On Monday, at 4:30 AM, a 38-year-old female was violently attacked by an armed man, according to the Miami-Dade Police Department. The attack happened Monday at 4:30 AM on West Dixie Hwy and NE 115 St.
The man is seen on surveillance running up to the victim from behind, a struggle ensues between the two, the woman is dragged and then pushed out of the camera's view.

Police say the man was pulling the woman towards the rear of the business to sexually assault her.
Yvette Furtado is a new masters student at nearby Barry University. She had no idea she should be on the lookout.
"It makes me a little nervous but I hope police will catch the perpetrator and everything will be okay," Furtado said. "We just need to be alert and it gives peace of mind to just always be aware of your surroundings but you never know, right?"
Some people who live and attend school nearby said they'll be more cautious and keep their eyes open, hoping the attacker doesn't strike again.
"I'll just walk my dog before it gets dark because I usually walk him in the dark."
The woman was able to provide police with a description of the man. Police describe the man as 5'7" in height with a thin build and somewhere between 20 and 30.
