Police: No Injuries After Shots Fired At University Of Florida

GAINESVILLE (CBSMiami/AP) – One person is in custody after shots were fired outside a student residence building near the football stadium at the University of Florida.
At 3:21 a.m. Monday, UF school officials sent a safety alert stating that shots had been fired in the Murphree Hall lot. Twenty minutes later, the school issued a second alert saying a person with a firearm had been taken into custody.
No one was injured in the shooting.
The alert said possible witnesses in a blue Mazda truck had left the scene.
No further details were immediately available.
