Police: Missing S. Fla. Baby Boy, Abductor Found
WEST PALM BEACH (CBS4)- The missing two-week-old boy who was possibly abducted Friday morning from his home while his mother was in the shower was found, along with his alleged abductor, police said.
According to the Riveria Beach Police Department, Mar'Quan Johnson, who was possibly taken from his apartment in the 1400 block of Village Boulevard just after 7 a.m., was found safe. The person who possibly took him is a woman who was at the home as a guest or caregiver, the Palm Beach Post reported.
An Amber Alert was issued for Johnson.
The woman, who police said is Latonia Alvin, is also known as Latonia Williams.
A search for the baby stretched from the Villages area southeast to the Tri-Rail station in downtown West Palm Beach at Banyan Boulevard and Tamarind Avenue. Authorities believed Alvin was possibly heading to Miami and a B.O.L.O. (Be On The Lookout) was issued, the Palm Beach post reported.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff's helicopter assisted in the search, and Tri-Rail employees were also on the look out for the woman and baby.
