Police: Miami Man Raped Girl In Van
MIAMI - (CBSMiami.com) - A 56-year-old man is accused of raping a 16-year-old girl after he drove his white pickup truck next to her and forced her inside the van.
The incident occurred on April 29th at about 10 a.m. in the area of Northwest 17th Avenue and 64th Street as the girl was walking along Northwest 64th Street.
Police arrested Jorge Rodriguez on Wednesday and charged him with sexual battery on a minor and false imprisonment.
Police say it was a random attack and that the victim did not know Rodriguez.
A bond court judge ordered him held without bond when he appeared in court Thursday.
