Police: Miami Gardens Shooter Still On The Run
MIAMI GARDENS (CBSMiami) – Investigators in Miami Gardens hope the public can help locate a brazen shooter that opened fire and killed a man Saturday evening.
The shooting occurred in front of the Quick Stop mini-mart on NW 207th Street and 32nd Avenue just before 5:30 p.m.
Children were playing at nearby Buccaneer Park at the time of the shooting.
When police arrived, the victim believed to be 19 or 20-years-old, was already dead.
Gun casings, at least 14 of them according to a CBS4 reporter who was at the scene, littered the area where the shooting happened.
Residents and the victim's family members watched as Miami Gardens Police investigated and as the victim's body was taken away.
