Police Clear Woman In Michael's Craft Store Arson
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – A woman seen in surveillance video the day three fires were set inside a Michael's Arts and Crafts store has been cleared of any wrongdoing.
Wednesday, Miami-Dade police released surveillance video of the woman, pushing a stroller, inside the store and named her a person of interest.
After the video aired, the woman was located and detectives said she had nothing to do with the fire.
Police said three different fires were intentionally set inside the store, located at 12425 N. Kendall Drive on Feb. 8th.
No one was hurt but the fires caused $50,000 in damages.
The motive for the arson is unknown, and police are still investigating.
