Police Ask New Year's Revelers To "Choose Your Ride"

MIAMI BEACH (CBSMiami) -- You may notice a different color scheme on police patrol vehicles this New Year's.
Miami Beach and Davie Police have given their cars a new look to remind drivers to stay safe during the holiday -- part police car, part taxi cab.
The drastic design will hopefully get drivers to think about who they'd prefer to pick them up after a night of celebrating.
On Twitter, the departments have even reminded the public about free towing options.
