PlayStation Network Remains Closed
MIAMI (CBSMiami.com) – Sony PlayStation owners hoping to get back online and use the PlayStation network will be out of luck for several more weeks.
According to Bloomberg News, the PlayStation network will not be restarted until May 31 at the earliest as the company works on improved security for the network.
Sony had been planning on restarting partial operations Monday, but those plans were abandoned after the company fought off another hacker attack over the weekend.
The PlayStation network, along with Qriocity services, was shutdown on April 20 after a massive data breach was found. Hackers have since started posting data online or selling it to anyone who can pay.
