PLANTATION (CBSMiami) - Police in this city are asking for the public's help after arresting a Miami Gardens man who they say had been using the internet to search for underage girls who he wanted to have sex with.
It is a story that goes from bad to worse.
Plantation Police say they arrested 30-year-old Gary Robert Glanville on October 10th when he was caught by a police officer on patrol at an industrial park near Plantation High School. They say Glanville admitted to performing oral sex on a girl who he knew was 16 years and who he had picked up near the high school.
"There was a male kneeling down by the passenger door and a female 16 years of age inside the vehicle," said Plantation Police Detective Philip Toman. The girl was inside Glanville's car which was a 1997, brown Toyota Camry.

According to a police incident report obtained by CBS4's Peter D'Oench, the victim told police she had met Glanville a few days before the incident through an internet chat room and she said Glanville had promised her an SD memory card for her phone. Police say Glanville told them it was a chat room specializing in sexual issues.
"People like this need to be locked up," said Toman.
Toman told D'Oench, "We believe this man is stalking the internet searching for girls that are underage and he's promising them gifts and meeting them for the purpose of having sex. We believe there are more victims out there and we are urging them to come forward."
That's because of what police discovered after charging Glanville with unlawful sex with a minor.
"He allowed us to search the contents of his personal cell phone which revealed provocative pictures of women who appeared to be under the age of 18 and also videos of him having sex with women who appear to be under the age of 18," said Toman. He said "several" underage girls were seen on that cell phone.
"There's always a predator out there," said Toman. "Youngsters are spending a lot of time on the internet and there are a lot of chat rooms out there and a lot of people on the internet. So parents need to be aware of who their children are talking to and what sites they are visiting."
Glanville, who is out on bond, was not at his Miami Gardens when we checked. His neighbors are horrified.
"I don't think that's right. I think that's disgusting," said Eric Stuldivant. "I feel it's a terrible thing because I have children also and I wouldn't want anything happening to my children like that. People should speak out because it's a sickness."
Leslie Glover, who has lived near Glanville's home near N.W. 2nd Ave. and 189th Terrace in Miami Gardens for 25 years and is a mother of nine children, said, "This is disgusting obviously but that's not surprising the way this world is and that's why I told my daughter to not even be corresponding with people on line."
Glover encourages other victims and their parents to come forward.
"They should definitely come forward because it's the only way to get the predators off the street if you come forward and tell the truth," said Glover. "Even though you may not want to admit your child is doing this you may want to humble yourself and tell the truth about what is going on."
Toman said Glanville is known to drive the 1997 brown Toyota Camry with a Florida license tag CRXY70.
Police say anyone who thinks they were victimized by Glanville or who has information about other victims and who can help detectives should call either Plantation Police at (954) 797-2100 or Broward Crime Stoppers at (954) 493-TIPS (8477).
