Passengers Sickened On Oasis Of The Seas Cruise
FT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) – A trip through paradise wasn't so pleasant for dozens of passengers aboard Royal Caribbean's Oasis of the Seas.
During a cruise last week, more than 50 passengers and ten crews members got sick with what was thought to be the Norovirus, according to the Sun-Sentinel. Cruise line officials the ill were treated with over the counter medication while onboard the ship.
The Oasis ended the cruise Saturday when it pulled into its home port of Port Everglades. The ship was scrubbed down and sanitized and set sail on Sunday on its next scheduled seven day cruise through the west Caribbean with stops in Haiti, Jamaica and Cozumel, Mexico.
