Panthers Will Battle The Devils In First Playoff Games
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Now that the Florida Panthers have clawed their way to the division title, it's time to 'see red' at their playoff games.
First up for the Cats, who are the number three seed, is the sixth seeded New Jersey Devils.
The first game with be on the Panthers' home ice on Friday, April 13th, at 7 p.m. The second game will also be on home ice Sunday, April 15th, at 7:30 p.m. The games then move to New Jersey on April 17th and 19th.
If needed additional games are scheduled for April 21st in Sunrise, April 24th in New Jersey and finally April 26th back in Sunrise.
The Panthers made it to the NHL playoffs for the first time in a dozen years. A win against the Carolina Hurricanes Saturday night gave the Cats their first division title in team history.
