NEW YORK (CBSMiami) -- At 43, there seems to be no slowing down the NHL's oldest player, Jaromir Jagr, who was named a Captain to this year's All-Star team.
Jaromir Jagr was one of four players to earn early roster spots in the 2016 Honda NHL All-Star Game in Nashville, Tenn. Patrick Kane of the Chicago Blackhawks, Alex Ovechkin of the Washington Capitals and John Scott of the Arizona Coyotes joined him.
Fans were able to cast their votes throughout the month of December with the top four vote-getters for each division earning the All-Star division captain title.
Jagr finished first among all players in the Atlantic Division.
He sent out a tweet letting fans know that he's not looking forward to going up against one of the other All-Star Captains, the Coyotes' John Scott, who stands at 6'8" and is listed at 259 lbs. Perhaps with all of the gear on, he may be closer to 300 lbs. like Jagr fears.
Fans-I was afraid,that 3on3 all-Star game may kill me,now,I am more afraid,fighting John Scott 6,8 300 during All-Star, kill me for sure

As part of the new format for the game, the All-Stars will play a 3-on-3 three-game tournament, with four teams representing each NHL division.
The remaining All-Star squads will be determined January 6th.
