Panthers Acquire Michael Sgarbossa From Anaheim For Logan Shaw

SUNRISE (CBSMiami) – The Florida Panthers traded forward Logan Shaw to the Anaheim Ducks on Wednesday in exchange for forward Michael Sgarbossa.
So far this season Sgarbossa has played in nine games with Anaheim, collecting two assists. He began the season playing in the AHL.
Through 29 career NHL games, Sgarbossa has three points and no goals.
Last season he played 62 games in the AHL with the San Diego Gulls, picking up 17 goals and 27 assists while accumulating 48 penalty minutes.
Shaw played a total of 53 games with the Panthers, picking up five goals and two assists. He also appeared in three playoff games with Florida past season.
The Panthers selected Shaw in the third-round of the 2011 NHL Draft.
Sgarbossa went undrafted in 2010 and was signed to an entry-level deal by the San Jose Sharks.
