Palm Beach Firefighters Uncover Grow House
WEST PALM BEACH (CBS4) - Firefighters putting out a late night fire in a home in a suburban West Palm Beach neighborhood may have stumbled on to a marijuana grow house.
Palm Beach Fire Rescue firefighters said when they were putting out the flames they spotted a large number of electrical connections inside the home, according to the Sun Sentinel.
Investigators said they were waiting for the power to be turned off before they could enter and explore the home. There was no one home at the time of the fire but workers with the county's Animal Care and Control did remove two pit bulls from the property; neither dog appeared to be injured.
