Ozzie Canseco Charged With DUI In Tampa
TAMPA (CBS4) - Former Oakland A's slugger Ozzie Canseco was arrested over the weekend in Tampa for allegedly driving under the influence.
Forty six year old Osvaldo Canseco, twin brother of former Oakland A's star Jose Canseco, was released Saturday after posting a $500 bond.
Canseco, who had a long minor league career and also played briefly for the St. Louis Cardinals, was also arrested in 2003 after a Charlotte County sheriff's deputy allegedly found illegal anabolic steroids in his vehicle during a traffic stop. He was also reportedly driving with a revoked license.
Jose Canseco hit 462 home runs in his major league career. The brothers have been plagued by trouble since Jose retired in 2002.
