Overturned Truck Snarls Golden Glades Traffic
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – A major mess in the Golden Glades interchange brought traffic to a halt.
Thursday afternoon an 18-wheeler with a load of lumber overturned on the connector ramp from southbound I-95 and westbound SR 826 to the Turnpike.
The overturned truck blocked two lanes. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue said the accident caused the truck to spill approximately 100 gallons of diesel fuel. Fire personnel quickly spread a chemical compound on the fuel to absorb it. All lanes on this connector ramp are closed.
Clean up could take a while.
