Woman Shot In The Head Outside Lauderdale Lakes Club

FT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) - Gunfire erupted in front of a nightclub in Lauderdale Lakes overnight sending one woman to the hospital.
The Southrock Lounge and Bar is located in a strip shopping plaza NW 36th Street and SR 7.
Witnesses said they heard two gunshots and then people started running. They said a woman was shot in the head.
"It was, it was crazy," said Oaeane Robinson who was inside the bar.
Robinson said the shots rang out around 3:30 a.m. He added the club was packed.
"Music like loud, everybody dancing next thing you know they scatter, come back inside like ants," he said.
The Broward Sheriff's Office said the woman was taken to Broward Health Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
Investigators interviewed those at the club to figure what prompted the shooting.
