Deceased Driver Identified In I-75 Crash
WESTON (CBSMiami) – A rear end crash on I-75 in Weston has left one person dead, a second person injured.
The accident happened Tuesday afternoon in the westbound lanes of the highway at Mile Marker 25.
Chopper4 over the scene spotted the front end of a pick up truck crushed under the rear of an 18 wheeler. The Florida Highway Patrol confirmed that Fort Lauderdale resident Mary Johnson Ross, 69, is the person who died in the pick up.
The driver of the big rig, Razmik Galajian, 51, was also injured but did not need to be taken to the hospital.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
