Oklahoma Vs. FSU Headed To Prime Time

MIAMI (CBSMiami.com) – When the Oklahoma Sooners travel to Tallahassee to play the Florida State Seminoles, it will be a brotherly fight in prime time.

The Sooners and Seminoles will kickoff at either 7:30 p.m. or 8 p.m. depending on whether the game will air on ESPN or ABC. The other prime time game that night will be Ohio State visiting Sun Life Stadium to take on the University of Miami Hurricanes.

The game will feature a matchup of Sooners head coach Bob Stoops and his younger brother, Seminoles defensive coordinator Mark Stoops.

Given that Oklahoma will likely be the number 1 team in the country, and Florida State could be in the top 10, the game will likely receive the 8 p.m. slot.

FSU opens the season on September 3 with a game against the Louisiana-Monroe Redhawks. They then play Division I-AA Charleston Southern on September 10, before Oklahoma comes to town.
