OJ Simpson's Kendall Home Sold At Auction
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – O.J. Simpson's former Kendall home sold Tuesday for $655,000.
The 4,233 square foot four bedroom, four bath home has been in foreclosure proceedings for about two years.
Simpson, who was convicted in Nevada in 2008 of kidnapping and armed robbery of two sports memorabilia dealers, reportedly owned nearly $800,000 in principal and interest on it. There's also nearly $100,000 in unpaid property taxes and insurance premiums.
Miami-Dade Circuit Court records show that a judge issued a summary judgment in favor lender JPMorgan Chase Bank last August in the foreclosure proceeding.
The county's property appraiser's office said the house was sold to an unnamed third party bidder.
