Obama Picks Indiana To Win NCAA Tourney
WASHINGTON (CBSMiami) – President Barack Obama has picked the Indiana Hoosiers to win the NCAA Tournament to become the 2013 national champion. President Obama made the picks just before leaving for a trip to the Middle East Tuesday.
ESPN revealed the president's picks and beyond picking the Hoosiers to win the title; he also selected Louisville, Ohio State, and Florida to round out his Final Four.
President Obama, a huge basketball fan, has made an annual tradition of giving his bracket predictions to ESPN. But, Obama has only picked the winner correctly once, North Carolina in 2009. He said he hopes to do better in his second term.
"I think this is Indiana's year," Obama said.
Overall, Obama selected two schools from states he won and two states he lost for his Final Four picks.
