No Big Winners In Last Lotto & Powerball Drawings Of 2011
TALLAHASSEE (CBS4) - Florida Lotto and Powerball players are hoping they'll have better luck this Wednesday to win lots of cash in the new year.
In the last drawings of 2011 no ticket matched all 6 numbers drawn Saturday in the Florida Lotto, nor did anyone match all 5 winning numbers plus the Powerball number in the multi-state game. That means that the jackpots for both games will be rolling over for Wednesday's drawings.
This Wednesday the estimated jackpot for the Florida Lotto will be $5 million.
The winning numbers drawn Saturday were 11-22-29-34-44-46.
Forty one tickets matched five numbers to win $5,514.00 each; 2,500 tickets matched four numbers for $73.00 each; and 50,623 tickets matched three numbers for $5.00 each.
In Powerball, the jackpot will roll over to $30 million for this Wednesday's drawing.
The winning numbers drawn Saturday night were 5-23-25-28-40; the Powerball number was 34.
One ticket sold in the state matched all five numbers but not the Powerball number to win $200,000.00.
Thousands of other tickets matched lesser winning Powerball combinations.
