Ndamukong Suh has been among the most fined players in the NFL since entering the league in 2010.
On Sunday during Miami's blowout loss in Buffalo, he grew agitated after doing his best to play clean football when trying to sack Bills quarterback Tyrod Taylor. Suh exploded into the backfield and locked up Taylor for a few seconds, seeming to show restraint in slamming the QB to the turf. But no whistle was blown and Taylor was able to throw it away.
Suh can be heard on the television broadcast telling an official, "you gotta call that dead or I'm gonna bodyslam the f**k out of him next time!"
It would have been his second sack of the afternoon.
Suh was asked about it after the game.
"It's all about player safety," Suh said. "At the end of the day I don't want to slam the quarterback. I got him horse collared. I'm going to hold him up and make sure he doesn't throw the ball. I ran with him for five yards."
